Providing all-natural solutions for ticks & mosquitos
In Western Massachusetts we know what a pain — and what a health risk — it can be to deal with pesky insects outdoors. Tick and mosquito control treatments help, but what if you would rather avoid synthetics? That is where this program comes in: protection without the use of unwanted synthetic substances.
We use plant-based essential oils including clove, garlic, thyme, peppermint and cedar oil, along with insect growth regulators that are non-toxic to humans and animals. It is applied in the same manner as our traditional tick and mosquito program.
One honest caveat, straight from our own FAQ: the all-natural spray needs to be applied more often to stay effective, and it repels mosquitoes rather than eliminating them. It is the right call if you have a significant portion of vegetable gardens or ponds on your property. Prices may differ for this solution, so contact us for a quote.

Walk-through
We look at what is actually on the property — vegetable beds, ponds, pollinator plantings — because that is usually what makes a homeowner ask for this program in the first place.
Application
The essential-oil mix goes down in the same manner as the traditional program, targeting the same shaded, damp harborage areas.
Cadence
Because it repels rather than eliminates, it needs to be applied more often than the traditional barrier. We set that cadence with you rather than assuming it.
